Nostalgia Heritage Homestay – Wayanad

Set on the sole plateau of Kerala on the Western Ghats, Wayand is rightly called the Green Paradise. Untouched woods, misty mountains, vast orchards of spices and long spread Coffee plantations make it one of the best holiday destinations in India. In addition there are numerous wildlife sanctuaries, reserves and national parks in Wayanad. Adding to all the natural beauty, Wayanad also has India’s largest earth dam and Asia’s second-largest earth dam, Banasura Sagar Dam. Hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, rappelling, camping, and many more adventurous activities can also be done.
This 100 year old traditional home is located in a quiet village up in the hills, away from the busy town but within distance of some great day tours. The location and its vastness will immediately make you feel happy and at home. Know your Host

You will be hosted by warm and extremely welcoming Vinoop who stays here with his parents and brother. He got introduced to the concept of tourism during his studies. That is when he realized that his 100 years old heritage home would be an ideal place for travelers visiting Wayanad. To make it suitable for guests he made some modifications in the home without causing any harm to the old heritage. He has been running this Homestay since 2009.
The family is absolutely lovely and caring and will treat you like a family guest. They will take tare of every small need of yours. So there is nothing but relaxation and enjoyment that you will experience during the entire stay. No wonder if the love, care and the ambiance makes you feel nostalgic like staying at your grandparents home for summer vacation. The hosts are knowledgeable local people and can guide you well on exploring Wayanad.
