Kasar Devi is a quaint little hamlet situated in the silence of Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, around 8 km from Almora. It offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. Its close proximity to Almora, Binsar and Jageshwar makes it a perfect base to explore these destinations. Kasar Devi’s magnetism has drawn writers, artists and spiritual leaders through the years.

This serene homestay is situated in a peaceful village near Kasar Devi Temple. This place comes under the Van Allen Belt and is perfect for yoga and meditation. A panoramic view of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks of Nanda Devi, Hathi & Om Parvat and Trishul can be seen from any point of the homestay.

There are 4 guest rooms. On the ground floor, there are 2 double occupancy rooms with a shared bathroom and 1 family suite with a kitchen and bathroom. The family suite can accommodate 5 people. First floor has a dormitory with 6 beds and a living area. Wake up to the surreal view of mountains right from your bed. As you get good wifi here, it is ideal for Workation as well.

Pantnagar is the closest airport at a distance of 123km. Shatabdi runs daily from New Delhi to Kathgodam, from where you can hire a taxi to Kasar Devi.
