Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra & Drive to Gangtok (120 km | 4-5 hours)
Begin your journey towards Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, nestled amidst the Eastern Himalayas. En route, enjoy the scenic drive with stops at viewpoints for capturing breathtaking landscapes. Reach Gangtok and check into a cozy homestay where you’ll experience Sikkimese hospitality firsthand. Spend the evening exploring MG Road, the bustling pedestrian street lined with shops, cafes, and local vendors offering handicrafts and souvenirs. Stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Explore Tsomgo Lake, Nathula & Baba Mandir (130 km | 7-8 hours)
After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Tsomgo Lake, a sacred glacial lake located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. Continue your journey to Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a revered Indian Army soldier. If Nathula Pass is accessible (subject to weather and permits), make a stop to admire the breathtaking views of the Indo-China border. Return to Gangtok in the evening and relax at your homestay. Day 3: Drive from Gangtok to Lachen (125 km | 4-5 hours)
Depart from Gangtok towards Lachen, a picturesque mountain village known for its serene ambiance. Along the way, make stops at Tashi View Point for panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains, Kabi Lungtok to learn about Sikkim’s history, and Naga Waterfall for a refreshing break. Pause at the Confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu at Chungthang, where two rivers merge amidst lush greenery. Arrive in Lachen by evening and check into a charming homestay run by a local family. Enjoy a traditional dinner prepared using organic ingredients sourced from the region. Spend the evening stargazing or listening to local folktales around a bonfire. Stay at Lachen.
Day 4: Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake & Drive to Lachung (178 km | 7-8 hours)
Wake up early to embark on a memorable journey to Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world situated at an altitude of 17,800 feet. Offer prayers at the sacred Gurudwara near the lake, a place of worship for devotees. Proceed to Lachung, a charming mountain village renowned for its natural beauty. Check into a cozy homestay upon arrival and relax after the long journey. Engage with your hosts, learning about their traditional way of life and cultural practices. Day 5: Lachung to Gangtok via Yumthang Valley (166 km | 7-8 hours)
Embark on a day trip to Yumthang Valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers,” famous for its colorful blooms during the spring season. En route, stop at Singhik to catch glimpses of the majestic Khangchendzonga peak if the weather permits. Explore Yumthang Valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, meadows, and hot springs. Take a leisurely stroll amidst the vibrant flowers, soaking in the serene ambiance of the valley. Return to Gangtok in the evening, capturing the memories of your journey through the lens of your camera. Stay at Gangtok.
Day 6: Departure to Bagdogra (136 km | 5 hours)
Bid farewell to your hosts and check out from your homestay. Your guide will transfer you to Bagdogra Airport as per your flight schedule, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through North Sikkim. Depart with fond memories and a deeper appreciation for the rich culture and natural beauty of the region.

1. Trip will be confirmed only after receiving 50% payment. The balance to be paid before the trip starts.
2. Due care is taken for the safety of the client but HOI will not be responsible for any mishap/accident/injury/illness etc.
3. If the client complete the trip or consume benefits included in the price, you will have no right to claim a refund.
