Rimbick is a small town in the Singalila National Park area of Darjeeling District, West Bengal. It is situated near the India-Nepal border about 56 kms from Darjeeling town. Rimbik is perched on a hill above river Rammam flowing from Sikkim to Bengal. Resting in the shadows of the majestic Kanchenjunga, it offers delightful landscapes, absolute peace and serenity along with mesmerizing sunrise views. The main attraction of Rimbik is its trekking trails including Sandakphu.
The homestay offers amazing views of mountains and river below. There are four rooms for the guests; 2 rooms on the ground floor and 2 on the upper floor with one bathroom on each for the guests. The host family lives separately on the ground floor. There is a common kitchen with a dining area. Maximum 11 people can be accommodated in the homestay.
From the homestay, you get a lovely view of farming in the fields. You are most welcome to join them and see the cultivation process of potato, peas, beans, pumpkin, cucumber etc. as per the season.

The guests are served fresh home-cooked organic meals with special Darjeeling tea, Tibetan tea and local wine in the traditional way. Fruits and vegetables are grown in their own farm. Paratha, butter toasts, omelet are served in breakfast. The Homestay is run by a Buddhist Sherpa family. Dawa Gyalpo Sherpa along with his family takes care of the guests and their requirements. They are a family of four members and his grandfather has served the army for more than 40 years. He is a travel guide helping his guests explore the area. He and his family are very hospitable, kind and generous.
