Embraced by snow covered mountain peaks, gorgeous waterfalls, sparkling streams and fruit orchards; it is a perfect destination for summer vacation.The people of Lachung predominantly follow Buddhism. The ancestry of Lachung’s people can be traced back to the Bhutia, the Lepcha and Tibetans. Despite increasing modernization, Lachung still retains its distinctive culture. Festivals, dances, and worship are all important aspects of their lives.

Rinchen Bhutia serve freshly cooked local food. Most of the vegetables supplied to the kitchen come from their own organic farm.
