Just around 9 km from Dalhousie, Banikhet is a lovely hill hamlet situated in the Dhauladhar Range of the Himalayas in the Chamba district. Other than excursion to renowned Dalhousie and Khajjiar, there are many other attractions around like Naag Mandir, Jawala Mata Mandir, Chamera lake and dam and Ennan Mata Waterfall. You can also enjoy the trek up to Dainkund Peak leading to Pholani Devi Temple.
