Naggar in Himachal Pradesh, is an ancient town situated on the banks of the mighty River Beas at an altitude of 1851m. Around 20 kms from Manali, Naggar has managed to remain untouched and elusive. It has many unexplored nature trails through dense pines. Naggar has a rich royal history and culture and that can be seen in its ancient structures that include Naggar Castle, old temples and Buddhist monasteries. There are many art galleries and museums in Naggar that are important repositories of the local customs and collectibles and are a must-visit. It is also a gateway to some of the best treks in Himachal, like Beas Kund, Chandrakhani Pass, Bhrigu Lake, Hampta Pass, and many more. 

Located near Naggar town towards Jana village, this beautiful wooden villa is built using local Kathkuni architecture and is surrounded by Deodar forest and apple orchards. Food

They serve a wide range of authentic Himachali dishes prepared from organic vegetables sourced from their own farms. Regular Indian and Chinese options are also available on request. Do try local delicacies like Siddu, bhey, sattu, kodra, jatu and vadaare. Though Himachali cuisine is fairly simple, some of the dishes are almost exclusive to the state. Similarly, Kullu Trout is another special Himachal dish, best prepared in the Kullu region. The fish is first marinated in very little spice and cooked until it’s melt-in-your-mouth soft. Vegetarians needn’t be disappointed – dishes like bhey and dhaam are there to tickle your tastebuds too. They also serve fresh fruits from thor farms.
