Coorg is situated on the slopes of Western Ghats in Karnataka. With rolling hills covered in lush green forests and a landscape dotted with coffee plantations, tea gardens and orange groves, this hill station has breathtakingly beautiful scenic beauty. Lying amidst high mountains, Coorg’s landscape stays misty throughout the year.
It is a very well maintained peaceful farmstay in Hoskeri village around 20 kms from Madikeri, nestled in Coorg’s one of the best coffee plantations. This 100 year old beautiful home of late Dilip Ganapathy is one of the oldest homestay in the village that started around 15 years back. Continuing the legacy, his wife Darshan is now managing the homestay. It is a perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the beauty of nature.
The bungalow has 2 cottages and 3 dormitory rooms. Each cottage has a double bedroom with spacious sit out, and an attached bathroom with all modern amenities and can accommodate 3 people. The dormitory can accommodate 4 each. The space is filled with flowers, fruits and trees; the chirping of birds throughout the day gives you a wonderful feeling of being one with nature. There is a Rock Garden as well with a music system where you can play your songs, but when the sun goes down we appreciate silence with the stars. There is low network connectivity and hence is ideal for digital detox. It has ample parking facilities inside the compound.
