Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Leh

Pickup from the airport and check into your homestay. The day is dedicated to acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the high altitude. After a light lunch, explore the town at a relaxed pace, visiting Leh Palace for stunning views or taking a stroll through the local market. Return to your homestay for a restful evening, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Trek Briefing
On Day 2 of your tour, the journey begins with a thorough trek briefing, where you’ll be introduced to the day’s itinerary, safety guidelines, and key insights into the trail ahead. As you meet your experienced trek leader or guide, you’ll be introduced to the rich cultural and natural surroundings, with their expert knowledge adding depth to your exploration. With the final preparations complete and your guide by your side, you’re all set to embark on the trek, fully immersed in the beauty and serenity of the landscape that lies ahead.

Day 3: Medical Test
The third day is dedicated to a thorough medical test in Leh, ensuring that all participants are fit and ready for the trek ahead. The assessments will focus on your overall health, allowing for any necessary adjustments to be made before continuing with the adventure. This important step helps ensure that everyone is fully prepared for the physical challenges of the journey, while also offering a chance to relax and explore the local surroundings of Leh.

Day 4: Leh to Bakula to Shingra Koma
Embark on a scenic drive from Leh to Bakula, covering a distance of 70 km, as you journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the region. Upon reaching Bakula, the trek begins, taking you through a 2 to 3-hour hike to Shingra Koma. As you trek along the path, you’ll be surrounded by stunning views of the rugged terrain, gradually making your way towards the peaceful, remote village of Shingra Koma, ready to experience the tranquility of this unique destination.

Day 5: Shingra Koma to Tibb
On Day 5, trek from Shingra Koma to Tibb, covering 8 km of scenic terrain. The trail offers a moderate challenge, winding through alpine meadows and rugged paths with stunning views of the Zanskar range. Along the way, you may encounter local shepherds tending to their flocks. After a rewarding day of trekking, you’ll reach Tibb, a peaceful stop at around 12,000 feet, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Settle in for a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 6: Trek from Tibb to Nerak Waterfall

Today’s trek takes you from Tibb to the enchanting Nerak Waterfall, a journey that blends natural beauty with an adventurous spirit. The trail winds through lush forests and meadows, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. As you approach Nerak, the sound of rushing water grows louder, and you’ll be greeted by the sight of the majestic waterfall cascading down the rocky cliffs, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Himalayan landscape. Take time to marvel at this natural wonder, capture the moment, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before settling in for an overnight stay in the nearby area. This day promises to be a highlight of your trek, with its awe-inspiring views and the soothing presence of the waterfall.

Day 7: Trek from Nerak to Tibb
Descend from Nerak to Tibb, covering 7-8 km through rocky terrain and meadows. Upon reaching Tibb, relax and unwind in the peaceful surroundings, reflecting on the day’s journey. Settle in for a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.

Day 8: Trek from Tibb to Bakula & Drive back to Leh
On Day 8, trek from Tibb to Bakula, covering 10-12 km through scenic landscapes. As you walk, enjoy sweeping views of the Zanskar Valley and surrounding mountains, passing through meadows and rocky paths. Along the way, you’ll get glimpses of local village life. Arriving in Bakula, take time to relax and reflect on your journey before settling in for an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the mountains.

Day 9: Depart from Leh
The trek ends here, your adventure concludes as you depart from Leh. After a final morning to soak in the beauty of the region, bid farewell to the mountains and the incredible experiences of the trek.

INCLUDES

• 8 Night/9 Day Accommodation – Camping during the trek.
• All meals while on trek.
• Lunch from day 4 to 8.
• Transportation from Leh to Bakula\Bakula to Leh.
• A skilled trek crew – guides, cook, assistant, porters.
• Trekking supplies like tents, sleeping bags, ice axes, ropes etc.

EXCLUDES

• Applicable Taxes (GST)
• Inner Line Permit
• Food in Leh.
• Pre Medical Check-up and Rescue fee, Wildlife/environmental charges, ALTOA NOC.
• Backpack Offloading and Porter charges.
• Expenses incurred due to anything beyond our control like natural disaster, political insurgencies etc.
• Personal expenses like laundry, tips to the staff and driver etc. Any extra meal, soft drink or beverage ordered.

GENERAL RULES

1. The trip will be confirmed only after receiving 50% payment. The balance to be paid before the trip starts.
2. Due care is taken for the safety of the client but HOI will not be responsible for any mishap/accident/injury/illness etc.
3. If the client completes the trip or consumes benefits included in the price, you will have no right to claim a refund.
