Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot (196 km | 6 hours)
Pickup from the Haridwar Railway Station. En route, enjoy sightseeing in the picturesque town of Mussoorie. Night stay at Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (90 km | 4 hours)
After breakfast, proceed to Yamunotri, followed by a 6 km trek from Jankichatti to the sacred temple. After completing the darshan, return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (82 km | 5-6 hours)
Begin the day with a journey to Uttarkashi. The scenic route alongside the Ganga River makes road travel enjoyable. Upon arrival, settle into our homestay and enjoy a warm conversation with your host, listening to fascinating stories about the village and its people. Stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (194 km | 8-9 hours)
Start early from Uttarkashi to Gangotri. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred River Ganges (Bhagirathi), which is named after King Bhagirath, who brought River Ganga from heaven to earth by worshipping Lord Shiva for thousands of years. After the holy dip, perform pooja and darshan, and spend some time absorbing the spiritual atmosphere within the temple. On the return journey to Uttarkashi, visit the charming village of Harsil, popularly known as ‘Mini Switzerland of India’. Take some time to explore the stunning apple orchards, browse the local markets, and indulge in the serene atmosphere of Harsil. Gartang Gali, Maneri Dam, and other local attractions are must-visit spots on the way. Stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (199 km | 7 hours)
Drive to Guptkashi, the overnight stay base for the Kedarnath Dham yatra. Our homestays are your gateway to authentic local experiences – enjoy memorable moments with the host and the friendly locals.

Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 km | 1 hour)
Start early from Guptkashi and you will reach Sonaprayag, followed by a drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath Dham Yatra. Embark on a scenic 16 km trek to the temple, with the option to take a pony or doli ride. Upon reaching the temple, perform the darshan and immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere surrounding the temple. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (30 km | 1 hour)
Follow the trekking path from the  Kedarnath temple back to Gaurikund. Stay in Guptkashi.

Day 8: Guptkashi – Joshimath (143 km | 4.5 hours)
It is believed that one should complete the Char Dham Yatra in a clockwise direction. The journey starts at Yamunotri, proceeds to Gangotri, followed by Kedarnath, and finally ends at Badrinath. As we journey towards the Badrinath Temple, we pass through Joshimath, a beautiful town in the Chamoli district. Joshimath serves as the winter abode of Shree Badrinath, as the idol is lovingly relocated from the Badrinath Temple to the Vasudeva Temple In Joshimath during the winter months. On reaching Joshimath, experience the warmth of our homestay and the flavor of Pahadi culture. Overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 9: Joshimath – Badrinath – Rudraprayag (192 km | 7-8 hours)
Drive from Joshimath to Badrinath and start your spiritual journey. Begin with a bath in Tapt Kund, followed by a divine darshan at the temple. Visit Mana Village, the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Explore the nearby attractions of Bhim Pul, Vyas Gufa, and Vasudhara Falls, all within a few kilometers of Badrinath. Finally, drive to Rudraprayag via Karnaprayag for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Rudraprayag – Haridwar (158 km | 4-5 hours)
This spiritual journey, which began in Haridwar, concludes with a return drive to this holy city with unforgettable experiences from the temple visits and heartfelt interactions with the local community.

GENERAL RULES
1. Due care is taken for the safety of the client but HOI will not be responsible for any mishap/ accident/ injury/ illness etc.
2. If the client does not attend/complete the trip or to consume benefits included in the price, he/she will have no right to claim a refund.
3. Trip will be confirmed on an advance of 50% payment. The balance to be paid before the trip starts.
