Bharmaur in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful hill destination that lies between the Pir-Panjal and Dhauladhar range, between Ravi and Chenab valley. 45kms from Chamba city on the way to Bharmaur, there is a tiny little village Hat that has the spectacular views of Chamba valley and Pir Panjal mountain range. The homestay is located in the heart of this pristine village surrounded by agricultural fields and forest. It is an ideal place to experience an authentic Himalayan village life that will fill you with peace and happiness. It can be reached by one and a half hour uphill hike; and all the hard work is totally worth it. You will find yourself in midst of the magical mountains being welcomed by a sweet pahadi family who will be waiting for you with hot tea.
There are 3 rooms, one with an attached bathroom and two with a shared bathroom. It is a perfect place to unwind, relax and experience simple village life. This place gives you an opportunity to trek to nearby mountains, grasslands on the top of mountain, temples and a waterfall situated near the homestay. You can also get involved in farm activities or cooking with the family. It is advisable to take a leave of minimum one week, or else you will end up extending you leaves like many people who fall in love with the place and do not feel like going back.
