Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh is a gorgeous all year holiday destination. Once the summer capital of British India, it still has that old world charm and colonial feel to it. Nestled in the heart of thick pine forest which is one of the virgin stretches of foliage within the city limits of Shimla, the homestay is spread over 2000 sq mtr. The bungalow is built in a colonial style with a well kept lawn in the front. It has total 5 well appointed guest rooms. The first floor consist of 3 double bedroom, a living room, dinning and a kitchen for guest’s use. Second floor is made of 2 spacious wooden attics, a living rooms and a pantry. Ground floor with 2 double bedroom, drawing room and a dinning is used by the host but can be made available to guest if required. Every room comes with attached bathroom and running hot water. There is ample common places for the guests to relax and rejuvenate. You can rent the entire bungalow or only limited number of rooms as per the group size.
The days can be spent playing Badminton or Carom or just basking in the rich winter sunlight. There is a natural spring which gives sweet water round the year. Two spacious lawns are ideal for Bonfire and Barbecue, which is indeed a luxury in Shimla. The property has round the clock help and a caretaker who will spoil you with their simple but yet delicious home food.
