Located in Kaza, the base of all travel activities of Spiti Valley, this homestay is situated strategically on the Manali road on the left bank of Spiti River. All important places in Spiti like Ki, Kibber, Chichem Langza, Hikkim, Komic, Demul etc. can be explored while staying here. It is situated close to the monastery and provides lovely views of the valley and mountains around.
The homestay has 3 rooms for the guests. Two rooms have attached bathrooms and 1 room has a shared bathroom with local dry toilet. There is a spacious living area and a Spitian style common dining area. The host stays at the same place with his family. Main market can be reached by walking 10 minutes. Parking is also available for guest cars. The homestay remains closed in winters.

Since Kaza does not have an airport, it is accessible on road via Shimla throughout the year and from Manali mostly from June to Oct when Kunzum Pass is open.

Chhering and Sonam are very good cooks themselves and love to serve a variety of food to their guests. During your stay here, relish delicious home cooked local food like Thukpa, Momos, Thenthuk, Butter Tea, Ti-mok, Spitian Bread and vegetables served in local style. Non vegetarian food like chicken and meat is also available on prior request for extra charges. The host has also has a small kitchen garden, and he uses fresh produce from that in the kitchen.

You will be hosted by a lovely local couple – Chhering Angdui and Sonam. They stay here with their parents and children. Other than managing the homestay, Chhering works in education department. The family is very helpful and caring; they love to host guests and introduce them to Spiti culture.
