Highland Homestay  – Nako

High above the Hangrang Valley, Nako is India’s best kept secret, giving almost a medieval feeling. This small village located near the Indo-China border in the Trans-Himalayan region of Kinnaur in Himachal. Highland Homestay is nestled in center of the village. There are 2 spacious rooms on the first floor, each with capacity of 4 people. There are 2 external shared bathrooms, one is Indian and the other is English style. Solar heating system is there for running hot water. From the balcony of the homestay, you get a clear view of mount Reo Purgyul which is the highest peak of Himachal. Be it your en-route halt on Spiti trip or you are exploring Kinnauri village, this is an ideal place to stay.

How to Reach

Nako is about 290 km from Manali and 300 km from Shimla. The best way to reach is on road, you can either drive, take a cab or the local busses that are available from Shimla and Manali.
