Nestled in the Pir Panjal Range in western Himalayas just 56 kms from Srinagar, Gulmarg in Kashmir is an absolute delight for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Adorned with timeless snow covered slopes with mighty Himalayan ranges in the backdrop, verdant green pastures and deep valleys covered in a variety of wild flowers, it is heaven for nature lovers. It also boasts of the ski resort which was established in 1927, the Gulmarg Gondola that is and the highest golf course in the world at an elevated altitude of 2,650 meters. If you want to indulge in Winter sports like skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding and heli-skiing, October to February is the time to visit. March to June is the time when you can witness the colorful meadows filled with flowers. Gulmarg also conducts an annual three-day Winter Festival in March.

The homestay is located in Kunzer on the Srinagar Gulmarg Highway in the middle of the Apple orchard at the Gateway Of Gulmarg. River Ferozpora flows nearby. You get stunning views of Mountain peaks from the homestay. There are 8 well maintained spacious rooms, of which 4 rooms are double bedded, 2 triple bedded and 2 four bedded. Attached washroom is there with all except 1 triple bedded and 1 four bedded room. There are 2 parks in the vicinity with children’s play area as well. They are perfect for the morning and evening walks.

How To Reach

Kunzer is a small village on the Srinagar Gulmarg Highway, 20 kms before Gulmarg. The nearest airport is in Srinagar which is around 40 kilometres away from Kunzer. Cabs are available from the airport.
