There are 4 spacious rooms, 1 on the first floor and 3 on the second floor, all with attached bathroom. In addition, there is a separate family cottage with two rooms having attached bathrooms, a cozy living room, and a fully-equipped kitchen perfect for families or group of friends. It can accommodate 6-8 people. There is a well maintained lawn to relax. You can take a leisurely stroll to the nearby Ferozpora stream or go out and explore local market that is just adjacent to the homestay. The host family will make sure you have the best time while staying with them.

How to Reach
Tangmarg is 13km from Gulmarg and 37km from the Srinagar main city and is well connected to the main towns of Kashmir via road. Srinagar Airport is the nearest airport at a distance of 45 km, and Srinagar railway station is 47km away. You can hire a taxi or an auto from the Srinagar airport or the station to reach the destination. You can also take shared cabs that run on Srinagar-Gulmarg highway.

Know Your Host
Gulam Sheikh, the host, lives here with his wife, two sons and their families. Gulam’s journey in tourism began at the the age of 13 in Gulmarg, and later, he did 18 years of service in the revenue department of J&K as an executive magistrate. Upon retirement, he started this homestay. Gulam enjoys connecting with guests and likes to cook. He also takes pride in having founded the Al-aqua Grand School in the area. The hospitable family makes every effort to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of their guests.
