Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus. There are numerous canals and waterways that can be accessed through the Shikara rides. Located on the foothills of Zabarwan mountain Range, the city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. The city is also famous for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits.

It’s a beautiful independent bungalow with mountain views and well maintained lawn. It is located just a few meters walk away from Shalimar garden. The host family stays on the ground floor and there are 4 rooms for the guests on the first floor. All rooms have an attached washroom. There is a Kashmiri style sitting area on the ground floor.

How To Reach

Srinagar has its own Airport that is located at a distance of around 10 km from the city center. The nearest railway station is Banihal (79 km. Jammu Tawi railway station is 271 km and Udhampur Railway Station is 200 km. Srinagar is also well connected on roads  from Jammu, Anantnag, Katra etc. and has bus service from all major cities.

They will serve you delicious home cooked meals. Breakfast has both Indian and continental options. Special Kashmiri wazwan can also be prepared on prior order.
