Set right in the heart of valley, Srinagar in Kashmir offers some of the best natural landscapes and activities one could wish for. It is known for Mughal gardens and picturesque lakes dotted with shikaras and houseboats. 

This century-old well-maintained quaint bungalow is perfect for a cozy homely experience. It is located right at the base of the Shankaracharya Hill, and is at a walkable distance from the Dal Lake. All major attractions including Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, Hazratbal Mosque are within a 15 min radius. The property is in a lane behind the main road, so it is very quiet. The taxi stand is a minutes walk from the homestay.

There are 12 spacious rooms, all with attached bathrooms. There is a very nice, pretty and well-maintained garden on the back-side with apple trees (laden with the fruit in August) as well as other vegetables and fruits like brinjal, cucumber, tomato, chilies, maize, pomegranate etc. Go on early morning strolls along the Boulevard, trek up the Shankaracharya Hill to the gorgeous Shiva Temple, and visit the ancient cave in which Adi Shankaracharya meditated.

Srinagar city has a well-connected Sheikh Ul Alam International Airport at (12km) that connects with major cities of the country. The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi, which is located 246 km from the city. The town can be easily accessed on road as well either by self-driving or a hired cab.
