This charming little hill destination in Bagdam district is one of the most beautiful and lesser known destinations of Kashmir. It is located at a distance of about 40 kilometers from Srinagar and has unparalleled beauty with mighty Tatakooti Peaks overlooking it and River Doodhganga flowing through it. Located in the heart of Yousmarg this rustic Kashmiri style wooden home is not merely a stay option but a place to discover yourself and to experience Kashmir in peace. This is an ideal place to meditate, read books and spend your days surrounded with nature.

The cottage is built in Kashmiri style and has 2 spacious rooms for the guests with attached bathrooms. Electric blankets and gas heaters can be provided on-demand, and there is a tandoor in the cafe to keep you warm. Old Kashmiri windows are reclaimed from old homes in downtown Srinagar and ceilings are mud-plastered with handmade designs called Boar. There is a reading room and mediation area for those who want to have some peaceful time. And we are sure most you of time will be spent at the balcony that opens up to a mesmerising view.

Know Your Host

Uzair is born and brought up in Srinagar, Hyderpora and finished his studies in Christ University, Bangalore. After a year of the job, he left the job and shifted to Bangalore. He is a advanced-level skier from Gulmarg. After shifting to Kashmir he has conducted many ski trips, camping, etc. In 2019 he started to build this house and has been hosting guests from 2022. He loves interacting with people, and guiding them on trekking, off-roading etc.
