Meppadi is an extremely scenic hill station in Western Ghats, Kerala 10 km from Kalpetta on the Kozhikode-Ooty road. This homestay is a true treasure hidden inside the dense greens of Soojipara. It is located in Puthumala – a quiet, secluded area, surrounded by lush greenery and mountains. Being on a hill top, it provides 360-degree view of ardent valley and mountains. There is a semi-private waterfall at a 5 min walking distance from the homestay.
There are 4 AC en-suite bedrooms; three bedrooms are on the first floor of the main building, ideal for family/group bookings and one independent single bedroom cottage, just 25 metres apart from the main house, with a private entrance, ideal for honeymoon couples. Bathrooms have 24/7 hot water and all toiletries are provided in accordance with international standards. High speed Wi-Fi available in all bedrooms and common areas. You can enjoy sunrise and sunset right from your bedrooms and the river is visible from the common balcony and you can hear the sound of the nearby waterfall. Barbecue and campfires can be arranged.
