Around 45 kms from Pune, Kamshet is a picturesque hill station in Western Ghats in Maharashtra. It is surrounded by paddy and sunflower fields and is renowned for paragliding and flying schools. Other attractions in the region are Bhairi caves, Bhedsa caves, Khondeshwar temple, Pavana lake and Shinde wadi hills. Located in a small village at around 5 kms from Kamshet, this eco-friendly farm-stay is a great place to unwind, relax and detox in natural surroundings. Staying here is an experience in itself.
This artistically built place with uniquely designed interiors, is situated on 4.5-acre land that is filled with fruit and flower trees. There are 2 units for guests. One is a bungalow ideal for families and groups. It has 2 huge well lit spacious rooms and 2 bathrooms. Across the stream is another unit with a classic double occupancy room with attached bathroom, ideal for couples. The house is energy efficient made on the model of sustainable development, that supports an environment-friendly lifestyle, without sacrificing comforts. There are no air conditioners but a natural stream keeps the area cool. Air coolers are provided in the rooms. There is a lotus pond, a tennis court, and an open dining space with a kitchen. They grow their own organic rice, wheat, maize, groundnut, soy and vegetables.

The nearest airport is Pune International Airport, 64 km from the accommodation. Lonavala railway station 5.5 km from the farmstay. The highway is well connected by nearby famous cities like Pune, Satara, Kohlapur and Mumbai.

You will be hosted by Suchita and Sunil. Suchita is an artist and works on sustainable farming and horticulture. If you are interested, she can give talks on sustainable architecture and agriculture for the betterment of the environment and biodiversity. Sunil manages the show at the homestay along with a couple who help him in day to day activities. The team is active and alert and makes sure you have a memorable stay.
