Known as the “Pink City,” Jaipur earned its name in 1876 when Maharaja Ram Singh ordered most of the city’s buildings to be painted pink as a symbol of hospitality in preparation for a visit by Queen Victoria of Britain. The city’s magnificent monuments, temples, wildlife sanctuaries, iconic Hawa Mahal, vibrant food culture, and deep history make it a must-visit destination. The homestay spans the ground floor, having seven rooms, all with attached baths. There are five classic rooms and two interconnected family rooms, each facing the garden and equipped with modern amenities to meet guest needs. All rooms are airy, well-ventilated, and have a comfortable, relaxing ambiance with their own unique charm. Guests can enjoy the common areas, including the outdoor sitting space, living room, and dining room, all having easy access and a chance to relax amidst the lush greenery surrounding the homestay. The garden provides a refreshing atmosphere, perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. Additionally, the homestay has a luxurious 25-seater conference room for official meetings at reasonable rates, with tea, coffee, and cookies available for guests.

Asha Mishra is the owner of this heritage house since 1963. An educationist since 1990, she serves as a resource person for faculty training. A dedicated Rotarian, she is passionate about social and community service, with the support of her husband, Mr. Rakesh Vallabh Mishra, a retired Regional Manager from Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank. Asha, an experienced traveler and teacher trainer, has visited the UK and Germany, gaining valuable insights into travelers’ needs. Together with their well-trained staff, the Mishra family creates a warm and welcoming environment for the guests!
