This eco-friendly farmstay is located at a 10 minutes drive from Taala gate of the Bandhavgarh national park next to the Jamunara village in Umaria, Madhya Pradesh. It is surrounded by lush green tropical forest of Sal, Teak, Mahua and Bamboos and is a perfect place for nature lovers, wild life enthusiasts and peace seekers. The Farm was initially constructed for the personal use of the owner with his family, friends and near and dear ones and is now has opened up to the enthusiastic wildlife lovers as a high end premium home stay.
The farm is a real jungle hideout and has a natural forest within the property. It lies on the natural beat of the royal Bengal tiger when on its way from the Taala zone forest to the Ranchha foothills. The farm is frequented by the Indian Sloth Bear and the wild Boar. The leopard has been sighted in the neighborhood chasing goats. During rainy seasons lush green tiger grass is a feast to the eyes with trees and bamboos all over.
The farmstay has three independent cottages, each thoughtfully designed for healthy and comfortable living. Two of the cottages have open-air bathrooms, offering a unique and refreshing experience. The rooms are beautifully furnished for a luxurious stay with well ventilated wide windows and private sit outs overlooking the gardens and serene beauty of Vindhyachal ranges. Each cottage also includes a dedicated workspace and a cozy private living space, a special corner for making your own tea or coffee, and a refrigerator for added convenience.

You’ll be warmly welcomed by SB Bhattacharjee, the owner of this charming homestay. A homemaker with a passion for gardening and photography, she and her retired government officer husband have created a peaceful retreat. SB also teaches local children and organizes an annual plantation drive in the buffer zone, fostering community and environmental awareness. Their hospitality and love for nature make for a truly inviting experience. She lives in the same premises with her family and appointed a caretaker to cater the needs of the guests.
