Gangtok is a quaint little town in North Eastern State of Sikkim. It is the capital and the busiest city of the state with the only independent monarchy in the country. From Gangtok you can enjoy the view of the third highest peak in the world – Kanchenjunga also known as the Sleeping Buddha. On a clear day, the magnificent Kanchenjunga range is visible from multiple locations within the city, the most popular ones being Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok and a host of monasteries around Gangtok.
