Back To Nature Homestay, Lachen – Sikkim

Lachen is a quaint little village in the hills of North Sikkim spotted with forests of Conifer and Rhododendrons. A mountain stream, Lachen Chu passes through the heart of the valley and cuts through the village. On the other side of the valley are the snow-capped peaks. Along with its twin village Lachung, it is the starting point for two main trekking camps of Sikkim – Chopta Valley and Muguthang and also a base to explore Gurudongmar Lake.  There is the famous Rhododendron Sanctuary that is in full bloom in the month of April.
It is a beautiful independent house located in the center of the town. The host family stays on the ground floor and there are 4 guest rooms on the first floor. All the rooms are spacious, airy having an attached bathroom. Rooms have balcony that offers lovely views. There is a common dining area on the ground floor.

The nearest airport is Pakyong Airport (136 km) and Siliguri is the nearest railhead (193 km).
