Losar is an absolutely delightful village, located on the right bank of Spiti river, 59 km from Kaza on Kaza – Gramphoo road. Its unparalleled beauty, magnificent mountains and breathtaking vistas can spellbind any ardent traveler. The first inhabited village of the area, Losar lies where the Losar and Peeno streams meet.
After a long experience in trekking, Dorje decided to open his door for trekkers in 2009 with only 2 rooms. Now he has 5 rooms to cater bigger groups. There are 3 rooms on the first floor with 2 external English toilets and 2 rooms on the ground floor with a common English toilets. There is also a dry toilet to serve in winter.

Dorje serves traditional Spitian and North Indian food. Breakfast usually includes Thupka, Parantha, Bread Omelet, Local bread with curd & chutney. Dinner can be a mix of local north Indian food like Dal, Roti, Rice, Seasonal Veg., Momos, Thentuk and Skew. Non-veg is available on demand. Just give him some extra time.
