Lipsa Mishra & Pankaj Lohumi converted their farmhouse into a homestay and have been running this homestay for the past 2 years . Bheta is the native village and place of permanent residence of Lipsa. She has lived and worked in different cities but the peaceful Himalayan village life gives her peace and happiness. It was her dream to come back to her native place and she is now living that dream through this homestay.
They both have decades of experience in the corporate world and now working to develop their own homestay. They both are available most of the time to take care of their guests, and in their absence the caretaker family welcomes the guest.

We had a fantastic experience at this homestay! We booked a spacious family room with a generous balcony, and the property itself is stunning. Located in the serene village of Bheta, it’s close to Garur (3 km) and Baijnath (6 km), both of which has vibrant market areas. If you’re seeking a stay near Kausani, I highly recommend this property in Bheta, as Kausani’s market is quite small in comparison. Additionally, Bheta offers a peaceful retreat. Since this place is located at slightly lower altitude, it’s slightly warmer than Kausani. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Mrs. Mishra and her father-in-law, Mr. Lohumi. They were incredibly welcoming, and Mr. Lohumi even treated us to fresh guava from his farm, which was a delightful touch. A special thank you to Mamta didi for her delicious pahadi dishes, her cooking is truly magical! ✨She offered generous portion sizes that left us unable to resist overeating! We truly enjoyed every bite.

The sunrise experience directly from your bedroom makes this place a must visit for people who want a serene start to a beautiful day. The food here is good and home cooked style. The service provided by the hosts is really commendable. The rooms are sqeaky clean. Overall a superb experience. We would love to visit the place again and experience more on the local trails and culture. Special thanks to our lovely host Lipsa ji and the superwoman caretaker Mamta ji for making our stay memorable. Rooms: Very clean rooms with the best views of the lush green meadow underneath. Nearby activities: If you are lucky, in a clear sunny day, you would be able to view Panchachuli peaks and Mt. Trishul from a walking distance of 10 mins. Lots of nearby village trails and beautiful views. Safety: Fenced with CCTV cameras fitted in the common areas and a cute guard dog Rocky. Food and drinks: Home style cooked food at a very reasonable price. Noteworthy details: Kids friendly with lots of toys, books, cricket, basketball, TT, carrom and many more.
