Mukteshwar is a picturesque little hamlet in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand. With close proximity to the capital city, amazing views of the Himalayas, fruit orchards and thick coniferous forests, it is an ideal destination for a relaxing vacation in the lap of nature. It is also known for Mukteshwar Dham Temple. This lovely homestay is located around 13 km from the temple and 6 kms from Kasiyalekh. It can be a perfect base for those who also wish to explore other hill destinations in Kumaon like Almora, Binsar, Kasar etc.

Located in a quiet locale in the lap of nature, the homestay has 2 tastefully done rooms for the guests. The rooms have large glass windows with beautiful valley views. You also get the views of the Mukteshwar Temple from the room. Both rooms have an attached bathroom. The host stays on the ground floor and the first floor is exclusively for the guests with private entry. There are many nature trails around and the host can guide you on exploring the hidden trails of Mukteshwar.

How to Reach

Pantnagar Airport, situated 90 km away is the nearest airport to the homestay and Kathgodam is the nearest railhead, situated 56 km away. You can hire a cab from the railway station/ airport to reach Mukteshwar. Regular road service is also available from Delhi, Nainital  and Haridwar.
