Someshwar Heritage Homestay – Raithal

This 500 years old heritage home is nestled in the lap of nature, far away from pollution, noise and chaos in a small village Raithal in Uttarkashi. Rooted in a fruit orchard, it has Peach, Plum, Apricot and Apple tree to please fruit lovers. You get clear views of snow-clad Himalayas from here.

There is one guest room on the first floor with a capacity of 6-8 people, a common bathroom and a balcony overlooking the valley. The extended part of the house (New House) consist of 4 guest rooms; all come with attached toilet and bath. Adventure lovers may also pitch tent in the orchard. You may also pitch your own tent and pay just for food.

How to Reach

Raithal is well connected by road. Daily buses from major towns of Uttarakhand like Rishikesh and Dehradun are available to Uttarkashi. From there you can complete the further journey via shared jeep or Tata sumo.
