Ramgarh is where Guru Rabindranath concluded his most famous poem Geetanjali. Hindi poet Mahadevi Verma, patriot and writer Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’ and Sachidananda “Agyeya” also lived here. Mahadevi’s house has been converted into a museum and visitors can see her belongings displayed there. This is the place where you get the first unobstructed view of Himalayas while travelling to Mukteshwar. Ramgarh is also known as the ‘Fruit Bowl of Kumaon’.
