The Homestay is located near Kunjapuri temple (28km from Rishikesh bus stand) on the mountains above Rishikesh in the Himalayas. It’s ideal for people who want to live peaceful mountain life for some days in the company of musicians and art lovers. Staying here with peaceful surroundings is like a therapy to the soul.

There are 4 rooms with a quaint charm. Each room has its own underlying theme of an authentic village home, carefully decorated with small artefacts. It’s absolute blessing waking up to the sunrise behind the hills, birds’ chirping and gentle breeze. You can practice yoga and meditation with a breathtaking view, with absolutely no one to disturb. Hosts have all kinds of musical instruments that you are free to play. The sound of ektara on the cliff sounds a lot sweeter when played by them. There are many trails and small hike around the homestay with a view of the snow caped mountains in winters. Walk in the jungle, bird watching, hikes and treks, jamming sessions is what makes this place unique and a perfect getaway.

Please note that only Jio sim works properly in the area. However the host has a broadband connection with good WiFi speed.

How to Reach

To reach the homestay you have to come till Devaldhar village. You can come either by air, train, bus, Taxi or come by your own vehicle. Rishikesh is the nearest railway station that is 27 kms from the homestay and Jolly Grant airport is 33 kms. There is safe free parking space available from where the homestay is hike up for around 700 metres. You need to make efforts to reach the place, and it is worth it!

Local pahadi vegetarian food is served that includes different varieties of dal, seasonal vegetables, rice and roti etc. The ingredients are organically grown at home. It includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea. The guests can also bring their own grocery and prepare their own food in an open kitchen.
