This lovely homestay is located in a small hamlet in Uttarakhand called Sankri – a well known basecamp village for treks like Kedarkantha, Har ki Dun and high-altitude expeditions like Bali pass. The Sankri Village is the last road head to the Govind Balabh Pant Wildlife Sanctuary and offers amazing views of the Himalayan skyline.

There are 4 spacious rooms for the guests on a hilly terrain with a working desk and a comfortable bed with fantastic view of Sankri village, mighty mountain ranges, apple orchards, chirping birds and a valley with Supin river making gushing sounds all day long. All rooms have attached bathrooms. There is wifi connection, so it is a good staycation option as well. While staying here you can also go on a village walk with your host and get a chance to indulge in local culture and have an insight in the lives of the Himalayan people.

How to Reach

Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport located at 224km. You can take a bus till Purola from Dehradun and book a cab from Purola to Sankri as the drive from Purola to Sankri is beautiful with lush pine forests and the valley; or you can directly take a cab from the airport.
