Chakoakheti is a small village near Chilapata Wildlife Sanctuary that lies in the heart of the picturesque Eastern Dooars at the foothills of the Eastern Himalaya. Chilapata Wildlife Sanctuary, perched between Buxa Tiger Reserve and Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is the most important migration corridor of One Horned Rhinos and Asiatic Elephants. Chilapata is also the home to more than 20 species of snakes, leopards, bison, wild pigs and a large variety of butterflies.
The homestay is situated in close vicinity of the dense Chilapata forest and is surrounded by paddy fields. There are 6 air-conditioned rooms with attached bathroom with geyser and western-style toilet. Each room has a queen bed and a big divan which can together accommodate 3 people. There is television with satellite connection and intercom facility in all rooms. The homestay has a lot of colorful flower plants that bring in an air of freshness to the people staying here.
How To Reach
Chakoakheti is just 75 km from Jalpaiguri, 20 km from Alipurduar town and just a couple of minutes away from Hasimara and about an hour from Cooch Behar town.

Food
Breakfast is served as per your choice like Paratha with curd or tea, Butter Toast, Bread Omelette or Puri Sabji. Lunch and dinner is mainly served in meal system with an option of Chicken Meal, Mutton Meal, Fish Meal, Egg Meal, Veg Meal. We also serve evening snacks. A few North Indian and Chinese dishes (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) can also be made on request. You may also order from the rich menu card.
