Nagrakata is a quaint little town surrounded by tea gardens in Dooars of Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal. This lovely bungalow is situated by the side of Jaldhaka river in Nagrakata, overlooking Chapramari forest at one end and surrounded by snow capped mountains of Bhutan at the other. Witness Peacock squawking sound early in the morning and evening and wild elephants straying within the lawn late at night.  It is an ideal place to stay for nature lovers.

There are two rooms on the first floor for the guests. The rooms are cool and airy with plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows and soothing river sounds are the part of the package. Both rooms have attached bathrooms. There is a common large balcony with a beautiful view of river and forest. Living and dinning area is on the ground floor. River bank is just 250 mt. away. Taking a stroll down to the river, a walk of 3 to 5 minutes, see local people catching fish in Jakdhaka river and enjoy dipping in it can be an amazing way to spend a laid back weekend in one of the essential town of Dooars. Gorumara National Park is 35 to 40 minutes drive. You can also take a walk to nearby railway bridge or ride to Bhutan border which is 10 km away.

The nearest airport is Bagdogra (86km) and the nearest railway station is Nagrakata Railway station at (4km) and Siliguri at (74km) from the homestay. Take a cab local transport. Host can make car arrangements for your pick-up, drop and local sight seeing.
