Jhargram is a small city in West Bengal. It lies between the Kangsabati river in the north and Subarnarekha in the south. It is just about 3 hours drive from Kolkata and is a melting pot of culture, tradition, rich heritage and natural beauty. You will find some of the oldest tribes of this land co-existing here and still keeping their individual identity intact. The hill ranges and the thick canopy of Mahua, Teak and Sal trees add to the charm of the place.

The Homestay

This opulent heritage building is a combination of the Italian and Islamic architecture model set in carefully laid lawns and gardens. 10 rooms on the ground floor have been converted into a Heritage Homestay. This Palace is more than 400 years old yet having all the modern amenities. The property’s seclusion, its great range of shared spaces and easy proximity to the Kolkata, makes it an excellent retreat venue. It is a great place to run your own customized retreat for yoga, handicrafts, music, writing, painting, architecture, photography.
