Steeped in history and natural beauty, Aritar (67 km East of Gangtok) is starting to establish itself as a popular hill resort of East Sikkim. A breath taking view of Khangchendzonga only adds to the many natural riches that Aritar is blessed with. A short trek leads you to Mankhim Dara, offers a 360 degree view of the surrounding areas. The Aritar Gumpa is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim belonging to the Karma Kagyu lineage order of Tibetan Buddhism.

It is a beautiful, well-furnished modern house, build in 1.5 acre area in the lap of nature. Highlight of the stay is the cheerful family and freshly cooked food and served with lots of love. Every room is very well done, with attached bathroom. There is a small zoo also in the garden. Early morning forest walk is something not to be missed.
